Stop thinking that women are always victims of men

The mainstream media often reports a high number of femicides, which may give the impression that most victims of murders are women. However, statistics show that the number of male victims of assassination is actually higher than the number of female victims.

In the United States, for example, the number of male victims of murder and nonnegligent manslaughter in the year 2021 was approximately 17,970, while the estimated number of female victims was around 4,970. This means that men are actually the primary victims of murder in the USA.

Moreover, several TV reports focus on the safety of women on the streets, but a larger percentage of males (21%) were murdered by a stranger compared to females (12%). In other words, 21% of murdered victims are women and 79% of murdered victims are men.

These statistics suggest that there is no female genocide occurring, as some mainstream media outlets may suggest. Rather, it is important to recognize that men are also victims of violence and murder, and efforts should be made to address this issue as well.
